Samsung DTBH260F HDTV Terrestrial Receiver Review
After being waitlisted with Amazon for some time, I finally ordered it from another large electronics vendor that offerred free shipping, but I had to pay sales tax. Last year I purchased two HDTV's (without built in tuners) thinking I would always get HD from my cable company. When I totaled up the cost of HD on cable with all of the extra boxes and fees, over-the-air HD for the price of a tuner seemed like a much more reasonable alternative. The tuner was not difficult to hook up. I used an inexpensive HDMI cable (purchased off the web), regular rabbit ears/UHF antenna and plugged the tuner directly into my TV. (Remember.
SuperSonic SC499D 9 LCD Portable Digital TV with ATSC/NTSC Tuner and AC/DC Power (1 Each) Review
I was looking for a battery power TV expressly for use in case of a a power outage. After reading reviews on several brands of portable TV's from various places, I decided to give this one a try. The first channel scan with the provided antenna didn't pick up anything ,(I live about 20 miles from the closest broadcast tower). I hooked up an old set of rabbit ears that came with a TV that I purchased many years ago, rescanned and picked up 3 channels, one weather station, the local NBC affiliate, and something else. The weather & local news is what is important to me when the power is off, so that is fine.

How do I connect my television without having a tv outlet in my room?
Question by fdasfdasf : How do I connect my television without having a tv outlet in my room. I don’t have cable/dish/satellite, but I also don’t have one of those outlets on my walls that I’m supposed to have to connect my tv to (they look like this: http://www. au/img/products/product_3248_thumb. I’d mostly be using the tv for watching DVDs, but I would also want to watch local programming every now and then. How do I get local signal without having the tv outlet in my room. Would an antennae be suffice.
I’m going to need a new computer monitor real sone. But I like to get a flat screen 20"-25" with a TV in it, my TV is a 13" and is 30 years old. I need some thing that not going to flicker, and dos not make noise. (note I hear both very high and low notes). The TV need a strong tuner, I use rabbit ears antenna. want to see it first, before buying.
I based my purchase of this item on the one glowing review that was up at the time, and the fact that it is cheap, so it would not be an expensive mistake. Well, it was a $13 + shipping mistake. The picture of this antenna looks nice, but what you receive when you order it is a flimsy piece of foam with a picture of blue streaks on it, resting on a plastic stand. When I opened it I felt like I had been ripped off. I thought maybe it looks like a piece of junk, but will work great. OK, so I hooked it up. It brought in 4 channels, some very broken up. I went out and bought (on.
